This module in Sorig pediatrics includes a study of various children’s conditions. Starting from the very beginning of the delivery, this class further explores pediatric disorders with the scope of a holistic medical system, including environmental and mental aspects.

Prerequisite

All students must complete TibMET 1 & 2/ TTM 1 - Elements & Root Tantra or its equivalent to attend this course.

Certificate of Completion

Graduates who complete TibMET levels 1 through 7 are certified with a Sorig Khang International Diploma of Advanced Studies in Tibetan Medicine & External Therapies (DAS in TibMET) 

Graduates who complete TTM levels 1 through 5 are certified with a Sorig Khang International Diploma of Advanced Studies in Traditional Tibetan Medicine (DAS in TTM)

A Certificate of Attendance in Children's Disorders will be granted by Sorig Khang Singapore upon completion of all lessons, and completion and passing grade of all quizzes and homework assignments in this course. Student must complete the content within six months of the start of the course.

Dr. Lhakpa Dolma

Tibetan Children Village School( TCV) and she has done her 5 year course plus one year internship in Tibetan Medicine from Tibetan Medicine and Astrological Institute in Dharamsala. She has graduated with Kachupa degree ( BTMS) in 2002 and received Menrampa degree (MD) in 2013 from the same institution. Her interest for Tibetan medicine grew from a very young age from her father as he got fair knowledge on Tibetan medicine and Astrology under the close guidance of his teacher, Trulku Sangye Kunga, a great Dzogchen master from Gebchag Gompa. With Trulku, Dr Dolma has seen her father healing people through spiritual practices as well as Tibetan medicines. In 20 years of her career as Tibetan Doctor, she has practiced in South Africa for 5 years and within that period beside seeing patients, she has carried many workshops, exhibitions and lectures on Tibetan Medicine before she moved back to India in 2006. She has also travelled and seen patients in the USA & Europe. She can read and write 3 languages namely Tibetan, English & Hindi. She is one of the doctors in Sorig Khang’s online virtual consultations. She has also served as resident Doctor and teacher at The Valley School( KFI), Bangalore from 2014 to 2016 and in 2019. She is a mother of 3 children and takes keen interest in promoting mother and child well-being.
